Mandela Day took place on the 18 July 2017 as part of a global drive to do something beneficial for the community in which you live for 67 minutes.

It is a little trying with a group of Nursery School children, but since the day this year fell within the June/July school holidays and we had only the holiday care children present at the school we decided to do a little supervised cleanup outside the school grounds as part of involving the children in Mandela Day 2017.
